The idea came between us, a couple from two different backgrounds, sipping on a cup of Tea, in the North Eastern Part of India, on a visitation to some Tea Estates of Assam. While feeling refreshed on a cup of tea and discussing the health benefits of Tea, Knowing fresh Tea is not only rare but very expensive for the masses, and in a country with 5000 years of Ayurvedic Science. It occured to the husband with experience in the Hospitality sector, Exports, and Sales Consulting, to create a model that will ensure that fresh, high quality Herbal Teas, and Exotic Blends, reaches consumers worldwide at an affordable price. This led to the formation of Tea Continent, a perfectly integrated tea brand established in the heart of the tea growing region of India, Assam, which is also the largest tea growing state in the world.

We decided to change the traditional tea route which is a long one, beginning in the garden and involving multiple middlemen,and becoming the single link between producer and a global consumer base, with the use of modern technology – Internet of Things, Machine learning, specialised packaging and subscription services.
